Loophole

It seems to me that the disclaimer “Don’t try this at home” leaves us totally open to try it at a friend’s house.

Disclaimer: Don’t take what I just said seriously at home.

I’ve found that phrase odd since I was a kid. People on TV would even do expiriments with 18-wheeler trucks crashing into each other in massive, empty parking lots, and then tell us not to try it at home. Who has a house that big?

We have 25 acres, and my husband would TOTALLY try that at home. I think it’s kind of like “don’t try wrestling this alligator at home.” Does not apply in Ontario or Manitoba, but if you think about people from places where it does…it begins to all make sense…
